How to right-click on the Magic Mouse

Three ways to right-click on the Apple Magic Mouse, including a two-finger tap that needs no press at all.

1. Secondary click on the right side

Open System Settings → Mouse and set “Secondary click” to “Click on Right Side”. Then press the right half of the mouse.

2. Control-click

Hold Control and click anywhere. Works on every Mac and every mouse.

3. Two-finger tap (silent)

With Tap2Click, touch the mouse briefly with two fingers at once. That is a right-click, no press, no sound. Free and open source.
